Revelation_19_The Lament for Babylon

In chapter 18, we see those who have become rich and powerful by power of Babylon - the adulterous and idolatrous world spirit that has deceived and murdered since the rebellion of Adam - mourn her downfall. Although they mourn her sudden demise from a distance, their end is in sight as well.
