Phase 3 | FRUITFUL |

| ALIVE > AWARE > AWAKE > FREE > FAITHFUL > FRUITFUL |

Galatians 5:22-25
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24 Now those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live by the Spirit, let us also behave in accordance with the Spirit. (NET)

We cannot survive alone. God the Father working in Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit has placed each of His sons and daughters in the Body of Christ and gifted them to play a significant and indispensable role in the mission of that Body. As we cultivate unity of heart and mind, we provide a context in which the glory of God in Christ can be seen and perceived by the World that is yet lost in the darkness of sin, death and condemnation.

MTM Step 3.3 | Living in The Body of Christ |

1 Timothy 3:14-15
I hope to come to you soon, but I am writing these things to you so that, if I delay, you may know how one ought to behave in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and buttress of truth. (NET)

The Church is the Body of Christ and therefore the "pillar and support" of truth since it is the true witness to the reality of Jesus Christ in this world. To accomplish His greater purposes, the Triune God is working in and through His people to call the lost world back to Himself. In this unit, we look at the how Christ has called, gifted and empowered EACH and EVERY member of His Body to play an indespensible role in His eternal purposes.

MTM Step 3.4 | Proclaiming Christ |

Colossians 1:28-29
We proclaim him [Christ} by instructing and teaching all people with all wisdom so that we may present every person mature in Christ. Toward this goal I also labor, struggling according to his power that powerfully works in me. (NET)

In this final study of MilktoMeat we explore the Mission that Christ has entrusted to His people of making disciples of all nations. In our times, the institutional church in the West has lost its biblical vision and has neglected its role in the eternal purposes of God. There are many who are seeking to "plant churches" but this is the responsibility of Christ Himself as head of the Church. Our Master has given us orders to make and mature disciples and trust Him to plant His churches through these disciples. It is time for the churches in the West to rediscover their place in Christ's Kingdom purposes and return to task that He has established for us.

"...I will build MY church and the gates of Hell will not prevail against it!"
