Sarcasm: The book of Job contains several examples, beginning simply with the designation of Job's acquaintances as "friends" and "comforters" when they mainly attack Job and render his life miserable by their presence.
With this as a context Job gets off some delicious one-liners.
At one point he calls his friends windbags: "Shall windy words have an end?" (Job 16:2).
